My Review of Salesforce.com World Tour Event

SFDC jan 2017

I recently had a chance to travel up to New York City for the Salesforce.com World Tour event.  It was on December 15th.   The weather was very cold outside but inside the Javits Center, we warmed up quickly with all the bustling activities.

Thousands of people turned out to get familiar with new products and network.   Some of the key products I saw were:

  • Salesforce Einstein
  • Quip
  • Salesforce Lightning
  • Commerce Cloud
  • Thunder IoT Cloud

You have the ability to watch some of the sessions at:  https://www.salesforce.com/video/

I thought Marc Benioff’s key note seemed to kick things off for Salesforce in 2017.   Major emphasis was put on Einstein and how Salesforce has grown over the years.   General Colin Powell’s speech about equality and his personal journey was particularly powerful.

It was great to walk around and catch up with a lot of the Salesforce.com professionals that we have placed at clients.  Some were even leading breakout sessions.  I also had the chance to talk to Salesforce AM’s to hear more about where they are going in 2017.

If you haven’t had a chance to go to a World Tour event I would recommend it.  Some stops coming up include Washington DC and Boston.

I’m looking forward to helping our clients find Salesforce.com Professionals in 2017!  See you at the next event!
