Mobile Product Owner

You are customer-obsessed, and bring a mix of technical, business, and UX know-how to your teams. You strive to help your team members in doing their best work and are empowered by new ideas and creativity.

Responsibilities of the Mobile Product Owner include:

  • Full ownership and accountability of the product i.e. being the CEO of your product stream
  • Drafting key objectives, strategies and roadmap of your product
  • Responsible for end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that is aligned with product strategy
  • Promote Continuous Improvement
  • Strong Mobile Products Development background and can really act as a Subject Matter Expert on this topic, backed by multiple years of experience working in the digital or IT domain
  • A digital native that knows loads about tech, business, and UX
  • Familiar with Agile/Lean product development practices, have experience in working with teams using Scrum
  • Precise and keep a strict eye on data, deadlines, trends, and forecasts
  • Comfortable leading the pack and guiding them to the light. Issues don’t block you – you either fix them or find a workaround
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role, we expect you to be able to anticipate and negotiate new or changing requirements
  • Develop best-in-class native mobile apps and mobile web experiences for our user base, in close cooperation with our UX and design teams
  • Work closely with mobile engineering teams to build a great user experience
  • Prioritize new features and releases taking into consideration business and customer impact
  • Together with our web analytics team you manage the integration of appropriate tools for both marketing, performance and user experience tracking


Requirements of the Mobile Product Owner:

  • Ability to write clear market-driven product requirements
  • A degree in higher education in computer science, engineering, business or another related field: or equivalent experience
  • You bring 2+ years of hands-on experience on mobile product management
  • Strong understanding of iOS, Android, the mobile market and mobile marketing
  • Affinity for mobile user interface design and user experiences
  • You have experience from other agile development environments
  • You work very structured and have strong communication skills
  • You are highly analytical and make things happen
  • You are passionate about start-ups and mobile products
  • Experience in Mobile and web integrated environment is required
  • Experience with Agile methodology and work in agile based development environments is required
  • Experienced managing the delivery of consumer facing products through mobile channels for iOS, Android and other channels
  • Rally, Jira or similar tool and working knowledge in HTML, CSS, REST APIs and experience working with A/B testing tools
