Data Engineer Lead - Mobile

Our Client is looking for an experienced Data Engineering Lead who is passionate about working with data and delivering insights. You will join a dynamic fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and develop data-driven solutions that drive major company decisions. As our first data hire, you’ll collaborate closely with management to set the future vision of the data infrastructure for our Client while also building out the future of AI. You’ll be critical in delivering data that improves the efficiency in delivering the most accessible mental and overall wellness services.

Responsibilities of the Data Engineer Lead include:

• Build and maintain data pipelines on AWS using best-in-class technologies (e.g., Python, EMR, Spark, etc.)
• Create analytic tools and reporting dashboards utilizing data pipelines to provide insights for product and operational teams
• Architecting a high-dimensional data-warehouse using industry standard data warehousing principles
• Evolve the core data model and schema through business growth

Requirements of the Data Engineer Lead: 

• 7+ years of data engineering experience
• Expertise in building out data pipelines, ETL design (both implementation and maintenance), and data warehousing
• Architected star or snowflake schema data warehouses
• Excellent written, communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Expertise with the Hadoop/EMR, Hive, Presto, Spark, Pig and the AWS ecosystem
• Solid Object Oriented design and implementation skills
• Deep knowledge of SQL
• Experience with business analytics tools such as Tableau and Looker is highly desirable
• B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related experience
