Contemporary Staffing celebrates
Throwback Thursday!
Once a month we will feature a “first job” from one of our employees, clients, or contractors, posing questions often asked in job interviews. They will share many things like what they learned from their first job, how they feel it’s applicable to their job today, and something they learned from their first job they wish they knew then.
Tina M., a CSS Employee, shares her first job:
Where was your first job?
“My first job was [in Mt. Laurel, NJ], and I learned that I could actually survive in an office setting.”
What was a “stand out” moment that was fun/interesting/memorable”?
“A fun moment was when our group had free water ice and ice cream. Two great things: something free and something sweet!”
What do you know now, that you wish you knew then?
“I now know that networking is really important.”
What did you learn from your first job that you apply to your current job?
“I learned that a willingness to learn and do your best at every job, no matter how big or small, goes a long way.”
What is your current job/title?
Tina M. is a Purchasing Assistant for one of Contemporary Staffing Solutions prestigious clients.
