Position Summary
|
Responsible for project managing all phases of the Company’s lifecycle for application development or infrastructure projects through the project management lifecycle (Initiation through Close)
|
|
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
|
|
· Maintain standard project documentation such as project plan, status reports, risk and issue tracking, etc.
|
· Partner with IT Delivery leadership and key stakeholders to provide seamless communication, planning business activities, and complete delivery of requirements.
|
· Track financial spend of project.
|
· Identify and process change requests to the project plan.
|
· Comply with PPM department standards, and produce ad-hoc project statistics as requested.
|
· Formal and informal communication and presentations to executive management may be required.
|
· Ensure project tasks and deliverables meet requirements, are completed on schedule and with the goal of zero defects.
|
· Demonstrates a continuous attention to quality through the development of modern requirements gathering, testing best practices and maintain audit documentation.
|
· Promotes self-empowered, self-organized project teams.
|
· Manages entire project communications in a timely manner to appropriate levels, and escalates issues as needed
|
· Utilize the lifecycle methodology throughout all phases of the project including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and close.
|
· Where appropriate, establishes and manages relationships with vendors and participates in software package procurement and installation.
|
· Leads project team members and provides performance feedback to management. Provides immediate coaching and feedback as needed to team members.
|
· Determine and request resource skill set requirements and assign tasks appropriately.
|
· Seeks new information about business and technology through reading, networking, seminars and classes.
|
· Operates as a role model, providing coaching, direction and training in project management to other IT team members.
|
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
|
Experience:
|
· 5 – 7 years’ experience in the technology field
