Salesforce Quote-To-Cash Initiatives To Be Featured At Dreamforce 2016


Salesforce’s annual Dreamforce conference, which will be held from October 4-7 in San Francisco, is more than just an opportunity to socialize with other Salesforce customers. The information that is shared each year is designed to help optimize your organization’s strategic use of Salesforce and its related products and services. One of the new Salesforce features that will be highlighted at this year’s event, will be quote-to-cash. Salesforce is so proud of this initiative, that has given quote-to-cash its own outpost in the event space.


Quote To Cash: The Star of The Show

When Salesforce acquired SteelBrick earlier this year, it signaled a new focus on quote-to-cash. According to Will Weigler, who leads the Corporate Marketing team at SteelBrick, his team has been working tirelessly all year to make quote-to-cash a key element of the Salesforce suite.  He writes on his blog:


Dreamforce gives us the opportunity to showcase how our latest Salesforce CPQ release not only helps sales teams with configure, price, quote (CPQ) and billing automation, but also extends CPQ into service organizations. In addition to watching demos in our Quote-to-Cash Outpost, we have 18 sessions specifically about Salesforce CPQ and Billing. And many of these sessions feature customers to share their own journeys.


Attendees, take note: The CPQ outpost is to be stationed next to the Salesforce Campground. Teams will run demos throughout the day, each day of the conference. Additionally, there will be 14 breakout sessions and one keynote featuring current customer success stories. Salesforce promises participants can learn how to increase sales and drive more revenue with product highlights, discover the ways in which CPQ works with Salesforce Sales Cloud and integrates with Service Cloud Lightning.
